Irrigateplus is a program based on Epanet and developed specifically for the design and calculation of pressurized irrigation systems, it can simulate a very complex meshed or branched networks with no size limitation, either working with metric or US units.
It includes catalogs from the major manufacturers of rotors and sprays worldwide, with specifications for each model.
Its visualization and post-processing tools allow a complete analysis of the network through the creation of plans, maps, charts and tables.
Since Irrigateplus is based on Epanet, we had to adapt our development to the EPA’s project which consists of an IDE programmed with Borland Delphi 7 and a hydraulic computational library written in C.
Deep changes at both IDE and library level were necessary during this development. Adding new components, dialogs, tools and functionalities, like the management of libraries from commercial rotors and sprays in order to use them in the irrigation system design .
Irrigateplus adds a licensing service integrated with PayPal to automate the process of software sales and license management.
